Trisha Ann Krause, DMD, MS
Dr. Trisha Krause was born and raised in Canton, Pennsylvania. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for her B.S. in Biology and Minor in Chemistry where her passion for dentistry was fostered. Dr. Krause then moved to Boston to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. To gain additional experience with medically compromised and trauma patients, she completed a one-year general practice residency through Harvard University at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. During this year, Dr. Krause made the decision to limit her practice to endodontics and she moved to Richmond, Virginia (with her husband, Dr. B) to attend the VCU School of Dentistry program in Endodontics. Dr. Krause served as chief resident during her second year of clinical work and her master’s research project was published in the Journal of Endodontics and also received an outstanding research award at the American Association of Endodontists annual meeting in 2006. Dr. Krause started private practice in the Fall of 2006 and since that time she has been selected as one of Style Weekly’s “Top 40 Under 40” and Richmond Magazine’s “Top Dentists”. Dr. Krause has also been an active participant in the Virginia Dental Association’s (VDA) Mission of Mercy projects, providing endodontic care to under or uninsured Virginias around the state since 2007. Dr. Krause also feels passionate about the new generation of dentists and has served as the Chair of the VDA New Dentist Committee for the past two years.
